Man Caught Driving Drunk For 4th Time Jailed | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: A 44-year-old tailor, who was caught in drunken driving checks for the fourth time, was awarded 34 days of simple imprisonment by a local court on Tuesday.
Nallakunta traffic cops intercepted R Naveen, a tailor from Peerjadiguda when he was travelling on a bike in drunken condition. His Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was 68 mg/100 ml. On Tuesday, a local court sentenced him to 34 days imprisonment.
Previously, Naveen was caught thrice for driving drunk and he was awarded imprisonment twice. In 2016, he was caught by Kacheguda traffic police and he had to pay Rs 2,000 fine. In 2017, he was awarded three days imprisonment and fine. In 2019, he was sentenced to four days jail, besides a Rs2,000 fine.
